E-Commerce

Our methodology is grounded not in completing an implementation and walking away, but ensuring that our client understands what a particular platform (e.g. ATG) brings to the table, and how best to leverage the spectrum of its business, functional and technological capabilities.
The steps of our methodology include:
- High level presentation of our business conception of e-commerce, our implementation methodology, and a reasonably accurate understanding of joint sessions and times that will be required from the client
- Discussions with top level management and key stakeholders to understand their vision for ecommerce, the goals that they would like to achieve and their understanding of how success should be measured
- Discussions with operations (business and technology) to get an overall understanding of the project, the company’s markets and products, operations, and the current internal technology landscape
- Discussions with SME groups for products, customers, marketing, orders and customer service to gather requirements
We then split the assignments into two work streams; the business work stream and the technology work stream. The business work stream consolidates the requirements, while the technology work stream carries the implementation through design, POC, development, testing and deployment. |
