Business Architecture

Our business architecture is meta-model driven and we bring in a significant level of UML rigor that provides manifold advantage. Over a number of business architecture assignments, we’ve customized the model significantly and now have a robust methodology.

Object Edge Business Architecture Meta-model
Our approach to business architecture focuses on the following objectives:
- Modeling business with a level of rigor to which technology modeling is accustomed
- Generating a common semantic to be understood across the organization at different levels of abstraction with different views, to address various functional interests
- The business model should reflect the complex inter-relationships between the various business concepts with total integrity. There is an implicit continuum in the derivation of the architectural artifacts and the architectural depiction should explicitly show the traceability in this continuum, i.e. downstream and upstream artifacts
- Traceability and alignment between business and technology should be clearly expressed
