Success

The result of the effort was exceptional and the customer has been using the system for the past ten years, with very minimal maintenance. The system was flexible enough to accommodate all business changes during this period, with some minimal configuration/ customization.

The customer is now keen to transition to a more contemporary platform. The customer has been actively looking at alternatives for the past four years and till date they have been unable to identify a system that comes close to the existing system, in terms of functionality, adaptability and performance. The customer now is seriously considering Object Edge for another bespoke engagement to re-develop the solution on a more contemporary platform, such as J2EE.
