Dave
Collins
Dave has over thirty years experience designing large distributed
database and communication systems. He had a long career
with IBM and in 1989, was part of the group that spearheaded
object-oriented education within IBM. At Object Edge, his
responsibilities have included major component design and
the building of object-oriented frameworks for financial
settlement, payments, and foreign exchange applications.
Dave is the author of the book, ‘Designing Object-Oriented
User Interfaces’, and has been a speaker on that topic
at many industry conferences.
Chamond
Liu
Chamond has over fifteen years experience in object-oriented
analysis, design, and programming. He began his career as
an assistant professor of mathematics at Fordham University,
and then moved to IBM, where he held various development,
management and research positions. At IBM he also helped
seed object technology into the development laboratories
as chief course developer and instructor for a broad range
of object-oriented courses and seminars. Chamond has authored
numerous publications along with the groundbreaking book,
‘Smalltalk, Objects, and Design’.
Hemant
Thakkar
Hemant has an entrepreneurial background with strong technology
knowledge and wide ranging business experience. He has a
deep understanding of security architecture, networking
and database software technologies, object-oriented methodology,
software product lifecycle, software architecture, design
and project management. Hemant’s experience spans
a period of over 20 years.
Eugene
Saksonov
Eugene has extensive experience in architecting payment
systems for health and flexible spending accounts. He has
over 20 years of experience in successfully building large-scale
systems utilizing state-of-the-art technology. As a Director
of Architecture with MBI benefits he architected the award-winning
payment solution (MBITime). The payment solution supports
stored value debit card that provides multi-purse POS functionality
for flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts,
health care reimbursement accounts, transportation and other
benefits accounts. The solution was architected integrating
SOA components, business processes, data flows and enterprise
applications of three major participants. This includes
a custodian bank, a debit card vendor and a health plan
or a benefit administrator. The solution included a comprehensive
adjudication engine, that utilizes multiple data streams
from various third party providers, like pharmacies, pharmacy
benefit administrators, general merchants etc. The payment
solution featured web services framework and infrastructure
that enabled high performance real-time data exchange and
integration of the MBI system with partners and clients
applications.
Eugene
holds a BS in Computer Science and MS in mathematics, both
from Kharkov State University, USSR.
Susanne
Shibley
Susanne has worked in communications nationally and internationally
for more than 12 years. She has managed internal and executive
communication programs for Fortune 100 companies (i.e. Cisco
Systems Inc., Siemens and Infineon Technologies Corp.) on
an international level.
As
the program manager for Organizational Change Management
for IT at Cisco Systems, Susanne provided the leadership
communication plan for Cisco’s CIO and his senior
staff. She supported major IT initiatives in change management
allowing faster and more effective roll-out and implementation
of new systems across the company and specific business
units. At Infineon Technologies Corp. Susanne designed,
implemented and evaluated the internal communication strategy
for Infineon Technologies Corp. leading the 30,000 employee
company through a spin-off from its “mother company”
Siemens, a name change (from Siemens Microelectronics to
Infineon Technologies Corp.) and an IPO.
Susanne
hold a Master of Business Administration and Economics equivalent
degree from Witten/Herdecke University, Germany.
